The female child in most parts of the world is still faced with dire inequities to reach career, mentorship, and employment opportunities in the legal field.
The Femme Lex cohort, a fully funded virtual, eight weeks mentorship program, is designed to bridge these gaps in the educational system. The mentorship program gives its participants exclusive access to legal mentors and business mentors. They’d learn how to pitch to investors, create their own firms, how to partner as lawyers with other individuals in their field among others.
After the eight weeks mentorship program, participants would have been equipped with all necessary knowledge and exposure to be the best in their field, they would be awarded the certificate of legal entrepreneurship, a prestigious award in the Caribbean and in the international scene, providing the credibility they deserve to practice their profession.

Eligibility:
- Participants must be 18+ year old by December of the specified application calendar year.
- Participants must be female.
- Participants should be studying or have studied law in the higher institution.
- Participants must have access to mobile phones, computer/tablet to participate in the program as it is largely virtual.
- Participants must have a genuine and vested interest in changing the world positively for the future, through medium of law and justice.
Measuring progress and impact:
- Number of female participants who successfully complete the program.
- Performance of the participants in the program.
- Participants’ satisfaction survey at the end of every cohort.
- Engagement with external mentors, lawyers, and business mentors.
- Number of successful firms initiated by the participants.
- In the long term, the growth and success of the firms initiated by the participants will be measured.
