The Journey So Far...
Our impact so far?
- We have so far impacted 15 communities and 35 schools, reaching out to 64132 students.
- 80 students have benefited from receiving school bags.
- 3,000 students have received various writing materials like exercise books, pens, and pencils.
- 24 children are enjoying full scholarships.
- 8 Femme Lex cohort ambassadors.
- 3 essay competition winners.
- 28 teachers have benefited from the teachers’ workshop.
- 280 people have benefited from our various empowerment programmes.
We have 67,555 beneficiaries out of the 1.216 billion people in Africa. It is significant to note that Nigeria alone,
which is our key operational area, has 250 million people, with 70% under the age of 18. According to UNICEF, there are over
10.5 million children not in school. More so, we have reached out to 35 schools out of the 116,925 schools in Nigeria. It is
important to note that we have 36 states and 774 local government areas (districts) in Nigeria.
However, it is sad that we have
only been able to reach out to only 7 local governments out of 774.This implies that this work is complex and requires collective
effort so that we can reach more children. African society needs your help. We need to stand up for Africa.

“I strongly believe that education remains the most important tool to bring about societal progress. It is also evident that education can bring about the total transformation of a society, people, or kin. I am most happy to be engaged in driving Africa's development through education by being part of the JED Child Trust Foundation. Moreso, this organization has given me another opportunity to contribute to the future of African children. I am most grateful and also feel indebted for this opportunity."
